Taking card payments in Malvern

Retail in Malvern centres on Great Malvern along steep Church Street and Bellevue Terrace, extending down to Malvern Link. The conservation area welcomes walkers heading onto the Malvern Hills, visitors attending productions at the Malvern Theatres complex, and residents shopping for local goods in health food and craft outlets. A short distance south, the 70-acre Three Counties Showground draws tens of thousands of visitors for agricultural and horticultural events such as the Royal Three Counties Show. Commercial life balances routine local custom with significant seasonal surges.

Business Genie Payments supplies Malvern independent traders with versatile Teya payment equipment arranged entirely over the telephone. Teya Pro is built for quick contactless, chip & PIN and mobile wallet payments. If Wi-Fi drops, Teya Pro can switch to 4G, although mobile coverage depends on your location. Teya settles card takings the next working day as standard, and qualifying businesses can choose everyday or Instant Settlement options, with conditions and in some cases an extra charge.

Exhibiting at the Three Counties Showground

Trading at major events like the Royal Three Counties Show means serving high volumes of visitors away from standard counter setups. The portable Teya Pro terminal features automatic 4G fallback and a 14-hour battery, allowing exhibitors to take card and digital wallet payments reliably right across the showground.

Serving customers on Church Street

Independent craft and health food shops along Church Street need to keep checkout queues moving when weekend footfall increases. Teya Pro is built for quick contactless, chip & PIN and mobile wallet payments.

Securing telephone and advance bookings

Hospitality and service businesses catering to visitors around Priory Park often need advance commitments. Rather than transcribing card details over the telephone, staff can send Teya payment links via email or text message, enabling customers to pay deposits securely from their own devices before arriving in town.

Card machines in Malvern: common questions

Can outdoor market and showground stalls rely on the connection?

Yes. The Teya Pro card machine features dual connectivity, operating on Wi-Fi and switching automatically to a built-in 4G mobile SIM. This allows mobile caterers and exhibitors at the Three Counties Showground or around Great Malvern to continue taking payments reliably without depending on a fixed landline connection.

Yes. We arrange Teya setups remotely across Worcestershire and adjacent counties, including businesses in Worcester just 7 miles away, Droitwich Spa at 13 miles, and Hereford at 17 miles. Everything is handled over the phone, and terminals arrive pre-configured and ready to take payments straight from the box.

How rapidly do card payments reach our business balance?

Teya settles card takings the next working day as standard, and qualifying businesses can choose everyday or Instant Settlement options, with conditions and in some cases an extra charge. This gives Malvern shop owners and independent traders immediate access to daily revenue for restocking shelves, paying suppliers, and handling operational costs.
