Taking card payments in Stoke-on-Trent
Stoke-on-Trent is unique as a polycentric city formed from six distinct towns: Hanley, Burslem, Stoke town, Tunstall, Longton, and Fenton. While Hanley serves as the primary commercial hub, local commerce is distributed across independent high streets, ceramics studios, and retail centres. With a large student community at the University of Staffordshire near Stoke railway station, alongside local trade in service industries, businesses operate at varied paces across the city. Smooth daily transactions are critical for keeping counters moving across each town centre.
Business Genie Payments sets up Stoke merchants with dependable Teya payment systems managed smoothly over the phone. Because many local business owners operate across several of the six towns, multi-site management allows unified hardware and reporting under a single account. Teya Pro is built for quick contactless, chip & PIN and mobile wallet payments. Teya settles card takings the next working day as standard, and qualifying businesses can choose everyday or Instant Settlement options, with conditions and in some cases an extra charge.
Multi-site retail across the six towns
Traders running shops across Hanley, Burslem, or Longton need clear oversight without juggling different payment providers. A Teya multi-site setup equips each location with identical Teya Pro terminals and unified reporting. Store owners can track transactions from every branch in one central dashboard, supported by a dedicated account lead.
Hanley cafés during the lunchtime rush
In Hanley’s commercial centre, cafés face intense lunchtime queues from office workers and shoppers. Teya Pro is built for quick contactless, chip & PIN and mobile wallet payments. Split billing and integrated tipping speed up table turns while keeping queues moving swiftly.
Independent barbers near University of Staffordshire
Barbers near the university campus in Shelton need simple, space-saving payment tools that do not tie up styling stations. Teya Tap to Pay allows barbers to accept card and digital wallet payments directly on a compatible smartphone, removing the need for separate card terminals while keeping operating setups lean and mobile.
